About SIM Indianapolis

The Indianapolis chapter of SIM has been a great place for me to form trusted relationships that have helped me and my company. We’ve altered approaches, adopted new technologies, and changed processes based on things I’ve learned from others in the chapter. Networking with others who are leading their IT organizations and shaping their businesses has allowed me to be better than I would have been without this brain trust. Being part of the national SIM has also been beneficial and allowed me to form relationships with others beyond the local IT community. This has been the best professional organization for me in my career.

As a cybersecurity professional, being part of SIM Indy has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Our monthly breakfast meetings provide a unique opportunity to connect with fellow IT professionals in the area, exchange real-world insights, and openly discuss the challenges we face in our roles. I especially value the chance to understand how others balance strong security controls with the demands of IT operations. I’ve gained valuable tips and tricks for working with vendors, managing teams, and adopting new technologies. The group is friendly, collaborative, and always willing to share ideas, making every conversation mutually beneficial. I’ve also been introduced to emerging technologies and enjoyed thought-provoking discussions about industry headlines. SIM Indy is truly a place where relationships and knowledge grow together.
