President's Blog

Welcome to the newest addition to our chapter website, the President's Blog.  Going forward, I'll be using this space for shorter, more frequent updates than our traditional annual letter: event recaps, sponsor spotlights, leadership perspectives, and previews of what's coming next for our chapter.  My goal is to give you more reasons to check in with us between meetings, not just before them.

To kick things off, I want to start with some good news.  For the xx (Rhona would know, I'm sure) consecutive year, Fairfield Westchester SIM has been recognized by SIM National for achieving 80% or higher member retention.  Retention at that level, year after year, tells us something real: the programs, events, and community we've built are delivering genuine value, and our members are choosing to stay engaged with us because it's worth their time.

We're proud of this streak, and we don't take it for granted.  It directly reflects the volunteers, board members, sponsors, and most of all members who show up, participate, and invest in this community.  We intend to keep earning it.

Which brings me to something I'll probably repeat often in this space, because I believe it:

The more ways you find to engage, the more valuable the relationships will be.
